MDC leader Welshman Ncube's Bulawayo campaign rally attracted a capacity crowd as thousands of party supporters thronged the historic Stanley Square in Makokoba on Sunday.
Ncube told supporters that President Robert Mugabe should be ashamed to be seeking re-election at 89 years old.
He said Wednesday would be a day of "liberating Zimbabweans", promising that once elected into Government his party would have reopened factories, rebuilt public infrastructure, restored the economy and ended poverty before the end of the year.
Ncube also accused out-going PM Morgan Tsvangirai and his party of lacking vision.
