A CABINET minister has said MDC-T's victory in Bulawayo is meaningless as it does not give the party absolute power to make key decisions in the development of the city.

Minister of Information, Media and Broadcasting Services, Professor Jonathan Moyo told media stake holders in Bulawayo that Zanu PF won the right the govern the country and that means Bulawayo as well.

"They won in Bulawayo but we won in Zimbabwe. Those who won in Bulawayo cannot use their victory to run Zimbabwe but those who won in Zimbabwe can use their victory to run Bulawayo, which is why we are here."

Prof Moyo said it is not true that MDC T won everything in Bulawayo because Eunice Sandi won through proportional representation.

Moyo has been appointed Minister of State for Provincial Affairs in Bulawayo.
