ORAP, USACF donates over five thousand soccer balls to schools

The Organisation for Rural Association for Progress (ORAP) in partnership with United States Africa Children's Fellowship (USACF) has handed over five thousand soccer balls to Midlands, Bulawayo, Matebeleland North and South provinces under the Shooting for Education and Development Programme.
The soccer balls were handed over at the White City Stadium in Bulawayo.
Deputy Minister of Sport Arts and Culture Tabeth Kanengoni Malinga said the launch of the programme is important in the development of rural children at the school adding that ORAP should aim to introduce the program in other areas.
The Minister of Small to Medium Enterprise and Co-operative Development, Sithembiso Nyoni said the initiative will be of value to the schools and will give children a chance to showcase their talent.
More than fifteen million youths worldwide are reported to have benefited from this project in less than one year.
