Wife teams with lodgers to beat up cheating husband

AN adulterous man was thoroughly assaulted by his wife and two female lodgers who had accompanied her after they caught him pants down with his girlfriend, who was also beaten and undressed in Bulawayo's high-density suburb of Sizinda last Sunday.

The adulterous husband, Mr Tawanda Zhou, could have avoided a beating had he resisted the urge to beat and insult his angry wife but his temper was his downfall as the lodgers pounced on him after he slapped his wife. Outnumbered and ganged upon by three women, Mr Zhou did not stand a chance - he was battered.

Mr Zhou managed to save himself from further humiliation and punishment as he somehow escaped from the clutches of his wrathful wife and eager-to-assist lodgers.

The girlfriend, Tracy, was not that fortunate as her clothes were violently ripped off, leaving her in only her brassiere. She was not wearing any underwear.

The sight of an undressed Tracy without her decency excited scores of residents and a good number of drinkers at a nearby bottle store.

The helpless Tracy was saved from a further beating by four elderly women. The women prised Tracy from the clutches of the three women. They covered her n*kedness with a Java print wrap cloth. They then took her away from the rancorous women and animated crowd that was swelling with each passing minute.

According to residents, the two-timing husband and his girlfriend had for some time been using a friend's house to engage in sex.

The friend, Mr Innocent Ncube, however, vehemently denied that Mr Zhou was sleeping with his girlfriend at his house.

"I don't know what you are talking about. As far as I am concerned, Tawanda has been looking after my house when I am at work. I am not aware that he was using my house to sleep with his girlfriend. In fact, I was not even aware that he had a girlfriend until his wife came accusing me of being bad influence to her husband. If he used my house, he did it without my knowledge," said Mr Ncube.

The estranged wife, Mrs Jacqueline Zhou, who got wind of the affair from a friend alerted her that Mr Zhou was with his girlfriend at Mr Ncube's house, is adamant that Mr Ncube not only knew but aided her husband to commit adultery.

"Mr Ncube is a liar and everyone in this community knows that he is a womaniser. I am not surprised that he has pressured my husband to act like him. But what my husband does not understand is that Mr Ncube is not married and is trying to destroy our marriage.

If he did not know how come when we confronted him he stuttered and said my husband was not in his house? How come I found my husband having sex with another woman in his spare bedroom? He is nothing but a bad influence.
