All set for Joshua Mqabuko Nkomo statue unveiling

The Father Zimbabwe statue set to be unveiled in Bulawayo has been described as legacy preservation and an act of immortalising Zimbabwe's former Vice President's liberation ideology.
Zanu PF Politburo member, Dr Sikhanyiso Ndlovu says the act of putting up the statue to commemorate Father Zimbabwe in the country's second largest city is an important gesture of immortalising Dr Joshua Mqabuko Nkomo's history.
Another Politburo member Dr Obert Mpofu said the unveiling of the statue in Bulawayo will remain an important part of historic commemorations which will be remembered for many generations to come.
The unveiling of the statue in Bulawayo on Sunday will coincide with Unity Day commemorations.
