Mzilikazi pupil obtains 19 points at A-level

A Mzilikazi High School pupil is basking in glory after obtaining 19 points in the 2013 Advanced Level examinations.
Nicholas Toronga, 20, from Bulawayo's Mpopoma wrote Mathematics, Accounting, Economics and Management of Business and attained three A passes and a B, the Chronicle reported.
Nicholas, who believes being respectful is key to success, said he wants to be an actuarial scientist.
He said he had already been to the National University of Science and Technology to inquire about the next intake.
Last year 31,479 candidates registered with the examination body and 25,681 passed with two or more subjects registering a pass rate of 81.6 percent compared to 82,09 percent the previous year.
