Woman undresses for cops

A WOMAN from North End in Bulawayo allegedly stripped at the Sauerstown Police Station in protest over her father's detention for assault.
Rebecca Nkomo (22) appeared before Bulawayo magistrate Abednico Ndebele facing a public indecency charge and was remanded to February 28.
The court heard that on Monday this week at around 9am, Nkomo went to Sauerstown Police Station where her father Misheck Nkomo was being detained in connection with an assault case to protest against his arrest.
However, cops manning the charge office ordered her to leave the station, but she refused.
It is the State's case that Nkomo suddenly started undressing, removing her jersey and blouse exposing her bare breasts and stomach.
She is alleged to have run to the main gate along Athlone Avenue half undressed and was apprehended and arrested by two policewomen who gave chase.
