Former Bulawayo deputy mayor Alderman Amen Mpofu has resigned from the National Matabeleland Zambezi Water Project advisory council.
Mpofu cited lack of commitment from newly appointed Environment Water and Climate minister Savior Kasukuwere in meeting them.
Mpofu said Kasukuwere had never bothered to meet the council and discuss the project touted as a permanent solution to the city's water woes.
