MDC-T leader Morgan Tsvangirai will today parade former MDC 99 leader Job Sikhala who recently re-joined the party at a rally at Bulawayo's Stanley Square today.
Sikhala alongside the likes of Welshman Ncube left the united MDC in 2005 at the time of the party split.
However, Tsvangirai two weeks ago made passionate pleas for Sikhala and everyone who left the party in 2005 to come back and they fight Zanu PF as a united front.
MDC-T spokesperson Douglas Mwonzora confirmed that Sikhala will be part of the MDC-T rally in Bulawayo.
"It is true that Sikhala who has come back to the party will be part of the Bulawayo rally. We are happy to have him back in the party. We urge others to emulate Sikhala so that we form one strong opposition to the Zanu PF dictatorship," Mwonzora said.
"When president Tsvangirai made the calls for those who left to come back he was not just politicking as some have said. He was sincere and genuine. It is not too late for those that left to come back to the party."
Sikhala also posted in his Facebook wall confirming his attendance at the Bulawayo rally.
"I thought to give the biggest gift to democratic forces in Zimbabwe. I will be there in Bulawayo tomorrow (today) addressing the people of Bulawayo, together with my President Morgan Tsvangirai," he said.
