A YEAR-OLD baby who was allegedly snatched from her parents' bedroom in Pumula South in Bulawayo on Friday last week is still missing.
Police have since launched an investigation into the case.
Wethembekile Dube was allegedly snatched from her parents' bedroom at around 11PM by suspected burglars who first threw a brick awakening the parents who were fast asleep.
Acting Bulawayo provincial spokesperson Assistant Inspector Abednego Ncube said no arrests had been made so far and the child was still missing.
"We received the report on Friday midnight and investigations are under way. So far there have been no arrests and we have not located the baby," said Asst Insp Ncube.
Efforts to get an update from Maphendla Dube and Finnishgale Mpofu, the parents of the missing toddler, were fruitless as their mobile phones were unreachable yesterday.
