His taxi was found dumped at 19th Avenue by fellow taxi drivers who then alerted his employer.
Knowledge's employer reported the matter to Donnington Police who attended the scene and made efforts to locate the driver.
He was subsequently found dead in the nearby bush.
A cartridge was found at the scene suggesting that the assailants used a gun. A 10 dollar note was also found by his side.
Bulawayo Provincial police spokesperson Inspector Mandlenkosi Moyo confirmed the murder and said police have launched an investigation.
Circumstances are fuzzy but it is assumed that the killer/s forced Knowledge to drive out of the city centre where they killed him in cold blood.
