Sex sanctioned woman dumps hubby

A BULAWAYO woman lightened up the court when she told the magistrate that her estranged husband starved her of sex for one-year-eight months.
Maria Mlotshwa told Bulawayo magistrate Takundwa Mtetwa that her estranged husband Danisa Dlamini refused her conjugal rights for a long period.
Dlamini was applying for a recession of maintenance saying Mlotshwa must return to their matrimonial home so that they raise their children together without court orders.
"Your worship, I cannot go back there," she protested, fearing a repeat of the sex sanctions if she returned.
"This man did not sleep with me for one-year-eight months. I was sex starving. He must continue paying maintenance while I'm staying with my children. When I demanded sex he would say he was tired.
"I am legally married to this man and we have three children together. I don't see a point of going back there as we will be staying together but not having sex like other married couples."
Dlamini stood defenceless and failed to oppose Mlotshwa's story but kept demanding withdrawal of maintenance telling the court that he was going to take care of his family.
"Your worship, I'm requesting for the withdrawal of maintenance. I love my wife, I want her back and I will take care of her and the family," said Dlamini.
Passing his judgment, Mtetwa said couples must learn to discuss their issues before approaching the courts.
"Normally it's good to discuss these issues before coming to court. Fix your issues before you come here," he said.
Mtetwa dismissed Dlamini's application and ordered him to continue paying maintenance until their children attain the age of 18.
