A BULAWAYO woman has been granted a court order to evict her 29-year-old son she is accusing of threatening to kill her.
Samukeliso Nyambe was yesterday granted the order to evict Maurice Nyambe by Victor Mpofu at the Civil Court.
Nyambe who accused Maurice of threatening to kill her each time he was drunk, said her son was a disgrace to the family.
"Your Worship, he is always threatening to kill me and I'm now scared that he may do something to me or to my grandchildren. We were together here but he left saying the court was delaying him," said Nyambe.
Nyambe also told the court that her son used to team up with his girlfriend to insult her in the presence of her other children and grandchildren.
"I want to be free in my house. I no longer take him as my first born. He must pack his belongings and leave me in peace.
"Your Worship, I beg you to grant this peace order tomorrow because I cannot survive in the same house with him. I think the hospital made a mistake and gave me someone's baby, he is not my son," said a tearful Manyame.
Mpofu granted the peace order and said Manyame should pay the money for the Messenger of Court who will evict Maurice.
