Bulawayo Funeral parlour vehicle in serious accident

A driver of Moonlight Funeral Services in Bulawayo is reported to be battling for his life at a Bulawayo hospital.



According to an eye witness report provided with pictures by prominent Bulawayo journalist and radio personnel Ezra Tshisa Sibanda on his Facebook update the accident happened at the corner of Robert Mugabe and Masotsha Avenue early Thursday evening. The driver of the vehicle is reported to have somehow lost control of his vehicle and smashed it on a tree on the side of the road.



The impact is reported to have been so heavy that the engine of the vehicle was dis mounted from the vehicle. According to Sibanda's post the only passenger in the car who was in what looked like a police uniform came out of the car and fled from the scene. Reasons for the officer fleeing the scene could not be immediately ascertained but such actions are prone to happen when a person comes out of a heavy accident.



Over the weekend another man died in a horrific accident a few metres away from the same spot when his vehicle also hit a tree and was beheaded. Report from the police or owners of the vehicle have not immediately been made available.
