MDC-T replaces Moyo

MDC-T organising secretary Nelson Chamisa is in Bulawayo today for elections to fill the provincial chairperson's position left vacant following the resignation of Gorden Moyo early this month.
Bulawayo East legislator Thabitha Khumalo, Mzilikazi Senator Matson Hallo and Bulawayo Central legislator Dorcas Sibnda are all vtmying for the post.
Bulawayo deputy mayor Gift Banda is also a dark horse in the race but some party officials say he is too junior to champaign for the post.
Provoncial organising secretary Albert Mhlanga had also expressed interest on taking up the post but indications are that he is now backing Khumalo.
Sibanda who is also acting provoncial chairperson confirmed todays "gap filling" meeting with Chamisa.
