Kombi driver rapes woman at knife point

A woman was ordered from a car she was sitting in with a male friend and was allegedly raped at knife-point by a 21-year-old kombi driver who went on to rob her of cash.

Kgotso Dube had allegedly robbed and stabbed the woman's male friend, before sexually assaulting her.

He was caught by police who were manning a roadblock after his 23-year-old victim spotted him near Tshabalala Clinic.

The kombi driverpleaded not guilty as he appeared before regional Magistrate Sikhumbuzo Nyathi yesterday facing rape and robbery charges.
