Parents with children who attend Tategulu Primary School in Cowdray Park fear for the well being of their children after a teacher allegedly took off all her clothes in front before pupils.

The teacher has been accused of locking the children in the storeroom before squeezing their throats as punishment for petty "crime".

Parents accuse the school headmistress of defending the teacher who some believe has mental issues.

Some of the pupils now refuse to go to school in fear of the teacher.

Parents claim that the children even accused the teacher of allowing them to play wrestling games in the classroom and she viewed it as a form of entertainment.

Matters came to a head when the teacher took all her clothes off and ran around the sports field.

An ambulance came and took her to Ingutsheni Hospital but she was soon back in the school teaching.

The headmistress has refused to comment.
