The Radio Dialogue Trustees have appointed Debra Mabunda to take over the position of Executive Director and replace Father Nigel Johnson.
Father Johnson has been recalled to Harare to take up the newly created post of Development Officer by his superiors, the Jesuits of Zimbabwe.
Mabunda had since 2001 served as Chair of the Trustees until three years ago when she left to settle in the UK. A nurse by profession, she has over the past 10 years been active in civil society organisations, including being a founding board member of Bulawayo Agenda.
During her time as chair of the Radio Dialogue Board, she was active in important advocacy activities within the Bulawayo community.
