Bulawayo business community cries foul

President of the Matabeleland Chamber of the Confederation of Zimbabwe Industries, Busisa Moyo, yesterday said the new requirement that companies in Bulawayo have to get export permits from Harare unnecessarily increases bottlenecks in conducting business in the city.

Moyo was contributing to discussions during a business conference organised by Buy Zimbabwe in Bulawayo on how buying products made in Bulawayo could help revive the city's industries.

Moyo said as the Confederation of Zimbabwe Industries are against this change and as CZI they are saying corrective measures should be taken but permit should continue to be issued from Bulawayo.
