A BULAWAYO woman was yesterday dragged to the Civil Court after she allegedly cheated on her husband with a neighbour for 10 years.

The husband was so incensed that he said his wife could take all the household property.

Jabulani Nyathi told the court he was seeking dissolution of his marriage to Tholiwe Moyo after failing over the years, to convince her to break up with the neighbour.

The couple reside at PPC Compound in Cement Siding.

Nyathi and Moyo, who were customarily married eight years ago and have two children, appeared before Bulawayo Provincial magistrate Victor Mpofu.

Nyathi told the court that he no longer wants anything to do with Moyo and gave her all the household property.

He told the court he would maintain his children after the dissolution.

"Your Worship, I no longer want to continue with this woman because of her unfaithfulness.

"I am not interested in her anymore and she can take all the property, I don't want it," Nyathi said.

Magistrate Mpofu granted them the dissolution of marriage and ordered Moyo to take all the property as granted by Nyathi.

Moyo denied the allegations that she was cheating with their neighbour saying that she wants her husband back because she still loves him.

"Your Worship, they told my parents that they caught me with my neighbour several times but that is not true," she said.

"I still love my husband and I really want to fix things with him. I even told my parents that he doesn't want me anymore but they told me that he should do things the right way and inform them the way he did when he came to marry me but he has never showed up".

Moyo said the property Nyathi was referring to was old and only the stove and fridge could be used.

She added that she needed time to look for a place to stay.
