Professor Matshazi dies

Prominent Academic and Zimbabwe Open University Matabeleland Region Director Professor Meshack Jongilanga Matshazi who died last Friday in Bulawayo will be buried on Friday at Lady Stanley Cemetery.
Matshazi died at the age of 78 at Edith Nursing Home in Bulawayo after a long illness.
He had suffered a stroke in December while in South Africa but was re-admitted at Mater Die Hospital where doctors recommended that he be sent to a nursing home for physiotherapy.
Professor Matshazi is survived by his wife Patricia and five children.
Mourners are gathered at number 78 Brentwood Road in Riverside, Bulawayo.
