Kombi drivers on strike

Commuter omnibus drivers in Bulawayo embarked on an indefinite strike this morning protesting traffic cops' ill-treatment causing chaos in the city.
Traffic cops are now routinely demanding spot fines and bribes of up to $20 a vehicle.
Hundreds of pupils and workers could be seen early morning footing along Luveve road and Emganwini roads to town.
Kombi drivers were also seen parked at major intersections and dancing to loud music.
