Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa today told Parliament that he is not aware of what is happening at Maleme Ranch, in Matopo.
Mnangagwa was responding to MDC Priscilla Misihairabwi- Mushonga who demanded an explanation from him.
In response, Mnangagwa said Misihairabwi- Mushonga should put her questions in writing saying he is not aware of what is happening in Maleme.
Central Intelligence Organisation officer Rodney Mashingaidze reportedly grabbed the farm a move that has angered villagers who have vowed not allow him to take ownership of it.
At the weekend, Vice President , Phelekezela Mphoko failed to attend a meeting with villages.
Twelve villagers were arrested in Matobo on Monday on charges of kidnapping and threatening to axe Mashingaidze's worker.
The Matobo Development Forum has appealed to President Robert Mugabe to stop Mashingaidze, and described his attempts to take over the ranch as a painful reminder of Gukurahundi to the Matobo people.
