SouthWorld man up for raping girl (13)

A 36 year old man from South World in Bulawayo has been dragged to court after he allegedly grabbed and raped a 13 year old girl.

The man Bemba Tshabalala was not asked to plead to rape charges when he appeared before Bulawayo senior magistrate Sibongile Msipa Marondedze. The magistrate remanded him in custody to May 11.

The court heard that early this month Tshabalala raped the girl several times and the girl told her mother but she ignored thinking that she was lying.

When the girl insisted that she was being raped by Tshabalala the mother reported the matter to the police leading to his arrest.
