Bulawayo-born journalist joins CNN

BULAWAYO-born journalist Robyn Kriel has been engaged by the Cable News Network (CNN) as its East Africa correspondent based in Nairobi, Kenya.
Before her new job, Kriel was South Africa's eNCA East Africa bureau chief.
Kriel announced the latest development on her Twitter account yesterday.
"Today (Sunday) I start a new job at CNN as a correspondent in East Africa. Am extremely excited & privileged . . ." she said.
Kriel also covered the war in Afghanistan for eNews.
