A BULAWAYO man shocked a court when he boldly produced a detailed road map he want his ex-lover banned from using, saying she was tormenting him after he refused to marry her.
Donald Kayembe was seeking a protection order against his ex-girlfriend, Rachel Chuma, a general worker at Mpilo Hospital, after she allegedly assaulted him.
Kayembe and Chuma broke up five years ago.
According to Sunday News, Kayembe told a Bulawayo magistrate, Evelyn Mashavakure, that the map he drafted was going to help the court bar Chuma from using the streets surrounding his home.
However, Mashavakure turned down Kayembe's humble request and told him that he was not the owner of the streets.
"I cannot bar her from using those roads and you do not own the streets. I can only bar her from coming to your place of residence.
"She is also ordered not to physically abuse you, verbally abuse or threaten you in anyway. She is also ordered not to interfere with your life," the magistrate said.
