Bosso star in road accident, car rolls several times

HIGHLANDERS star midfielder Mthulisi Maphosa cheated death on Saturday night when his car burst a front tyre and rolled several times in Cowdray Park, Bulawayo.
The accident happened on a sharp curve while Maphosa was on his way home after dropping off a friend in the same suburb.
All occupants of the Honda CRV were tossed out of the vehicle and were rushed to Mpilo Central
Hospital by a passing motorist. They were treated and discharged.
The lanky midfielder and his two passengers escaped with minor injuries but the vehicle is a write-off.
According to Maphosa's manager, legendary radio personality Ezra "Tshisa" Sibanda, the Honda CRV hit a pothole resulting in the front tyre bursting and the vehicle overturning.
Maphosa, Sibanda said, would attend today's training session.
