Some car dealers in Bulawayo are accused of fleecing unsuspecting clients with some of them having collected 50% payment for the vehicle and disappeared without handing the vehicles to the buyers.
Some of the dealers currently have pending court cases after the disgruntled clients took up the cases with the police leading to the car dealers being arraigned to the courts charged with fraud.
Reveklations are that a car dealer company by the name CHY CRY PVT LTD reportedly run by one Dumisani Mutorera who owns the 4040 B4Y in Bulawayo allegedly duped a client who paid some 50% towards the purchase of a vehicle in the promise that the vehicle will be delivereed to him but later disappeared from the town premises and allegedly opened a new company called HOAXY PVT LTD which he operates with one Rose Taisekwa.
The company is reportedly having numerous pending cases in the courts concerning the fraudulent car deals which are now backfiring.
William Banda and others reportedly have pending court case against the same company.
Another car dealer OUTO Credit reportedly collected $2 700 down payment from Moses Mutipforo in the promise that he will received his car soon after payment but he did not get anything.
He then sued the company and successfully won the case with the court ordering that the company should pay him back his $2700. The order against the company was issued on June 8 this year.
CHY CRY is also being sued by one Freddy Siziba after he also paid the 50% down payment and the vehicle was never delivered to him.
