A COWDRAY Park suburb man could not stomach the idea of his wife's
sister turning down his advances and stormed into a bath- room where she
was bathing before fondling her breasts.
The daring Samkele Mhlanga (36) of house number 5608 Cowdray Park was hauled before Western Commonage magistrate, Mr Shepherd Mjanja facing two counts of indecent assault.
The court heard that sometime in April this year Mhlanga's wife left the two headed to her rural home.
After a few days, Mhlanga purportedly feeling lonely thought it proper to direct his feelings to his wife's sister.
On the first occasion the two are said to have been watching television when Mhlanga suddenly sprung up from his seat and told his wife's sister that he loved her.
She however remained mum. Moments later, the man realising that words were not sending the desired message, he took it upon himself to take appropriate measures.
He is reported to have grabbed her and started fondling her breasts and whispering tenderly that she was his wife.
As Mhlanga advanced his cause the teenager bolted out of the house and sought refuge at her boyfriend's house.
From that period up until last week on Monday the teen had been living with her boyfriend.
Mhlanga is said to have tried to put an end to this and preceded to where she was staying intending to take her back home.
When he got there, he is said to have found the teenager bathing. He stormed into the bathroom and slapped the teen telling her that her days of running away from him were over.
He allegedly went on to fondle her breasts again before she ran for dear life and sought refuge in her lover's bedroom where she^ locked herself.
The teenager later narrated her ordeal to her boyfriend who accompanied her to the police where a report was made.
Mhlanga was apprehended leading to his subsequent appear- ance in court. He was remanded in custody to 30 August.
