Woman (85) discovers her ID belonged to a dead person

The Registrar-General's Office in Bulawayo has professed ignorance over a matter in which they proclaimed dead an 85-year-old woman from Mzilikazi who is still alive.

According to Chronicle, Bulawayo provincial registrar, Jane Peters has shown ignorance to the situation claiming that she doesn't "know anything about that".

The woman discovered that her National ID belonged to a dead person while she was trying to access a death certificate for her late sister in March this year.

It took the Registrar-General's Office three months to rectify the blander, now she can use her ID again.
