ADVANCE tickets to the much-anticipated DJ Heavy K show at Club Eden in Bulawayo tonight have been sold out.
The 100 tickets which were sold at $5 at various outlets saw people buying at least three per individual. As a result, organisers have arranged that the first 200 to get to the nightspot tonight pay $5 before the price is increased to $10 for ordinary entry. VIP tickets have been pegged at $15.
"The ordinary tickets sold like hot cakes because of their low price. We're left with advance VIP tickets which are going for $10 each," said Club Eden manager Emmanuel Mahaso.
Those in the VIP will have a chance to meet and interact with Heavy K.
"Heavy K will mix and mingle with those in the VIP. We want people to get real value for their money," said Mahaso.
The South African artiste is expected in Bulawayo at midday. He will briefly visit Parkview Tshisa Nyama to meet fans.
With hits such as Sweetie, Beautiful War, Yini, Easy to Love and Wena, Heavy K is no stranger to Bulawayo fans as he once staged a show at the Queens Sports Club Grounds in 2013 during the Kalawa Homecoming party.
He will be backed by Club Eden DJs, Kananjo, Keezy and Slamma, as well as Harare DJs Dee Nosh, Flevah, T Fresh and TJ Nash.
