Prof Jonathan Moyo mourns Willard Khumalo

Scores of football supporters have expressed shock at the death of one of Highlanders FC gifted midfielder, Willard Khumalo.
Khumalo died at the United Bulawayo Hospitals due to a cardiac arrest.
Mourners are gathered at his Mzilikazi house.
Higher Education Minister Professor Jonathan Moyo described maWee's as he was affectionately known during his heydays as a legend.
He wrote on his official Twitter account " Sad to hear Willard Khumalo has passed on. A soccer legend & everyday hero. Hamba kuhle Qhawe labantu!
Former Highlanders secretary-general Nhanhla Dube said "Selidume ledlula. So many memories of a boy who became a man in the black and white colours of Highlanders FC.
" A man whose footballing skill was silky and easy to the eye, who made us dream with the Dream team, chant and sing iBosso yiTshilamoya, Wakhalumantengwane, Lingababulali, Bophijambo. An era has ended, one that stretches decades covering a nation, a continent and touching lands far and cold. Still we shall forever remember Mawiiiiii !!! Hamba kahle mfowethu, lala ngokuthula Nduna. Etched in our football memories and history is Willard Mashinkila Khumalo" said Dube.
Smanga Phakathi Kamoyo said "It is saddening and devastating to come to grips with the sudden death of one of the Zimbabwean soccer giants.
A soccer star to many but a brother and mentor to some of us. May his soul rest in peace. He will never be forgotten: Willard Tshinkila-khumalo".
Khumalo ,who was well respected among the local football fraternity, had a career that saw him turn out for Highlanders and the Zimbabwe national team.
He also coached Highlanders and was appointed their welfare manager in 2013.
