Woman charged for illegal possession of drugs

A woman from Entumbane in Bulawayo has been charged with illegal possession of medical drugs not registered under the medicines control of Zimbabwe.
Ntombiyelanga Dlamini (40) was convicted for the charge by the Bulawayo magistrate Charity Maphosa who sentenced her to pay a fine of $100 or spend 30 days in jail.
The court heard that on August 20 this year police were on patrol when they spotted Dlamini in possession of the drugs which comprises 21 Betasol Creams, 5 Movate, 4 Lemonvate, 3 Extra Clair, 10 by 20 tablets of Appetito all worthy $124. This led to her arrest.
