Duo up for theft of vehicle

Two Bulawayo man one of them a security guard appeared in court charged with theft of a motor vehicle.
Simbarashe Matale (29) of Emakhandeni and Frequency Muchemba (23) of Njube who is a security guard at Pacesetter security company were not asked to plead to the charge when they appeared before Bulawayo magistrate Charity Maphosa who remanded them in custody to September 11.
The court heard that on August 7 this year at 10pm the complainant Venson Gambiza parked his car a Toyota Corola at corner Joshua Nkomo street and 3rd avenue in Bulawayo.
The two allegedly pounced on it and opened it using duplicate keys before driving it off.
Gambisa discovered the theft on the following day and reported to the police. On August 26 at 1pm police spotted Matale opening the car in town and pounced on him. he also implicated Muchemba who was later arrested.
