Zimbabweans must prevent Mnangagwa from Presidency - analyst

Political commentator Methuseli Moyo has challenged Zimbabweans who want peace after President Robert Mugabe lives power to shun voting for the current Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa as president saying the man is a serious threat to any possible chances of Zimbabwe being peaceful.
Moyo was reacting to Mnangagwa's remarks that former Rhodesian Prime Minister once told him that former Vice President Joshua Nkomo represented the
"Even if VP Mnangagwa was repeating what he claims Ian Smith said about Dr Joshua Nkomo, the question is : What was Mnangagwa's intention in repeating what Smith said?" said Moyo. "In any case, who was Ian Smith to be taken seriously that 35 years later, a person aspiring to be President of a united, peaceful Zimbabwe in 2018 (or even earlier) can repeat his words today?"

"I have always been against Mnangagwa's political style (if he has any), and his latest comments vindicate my position," said Moyo. "The man must be prevented by all means necessary and legal from getting anywhere nearer to be President than he has already been. This is a challenge to every Zimbabwean who wants a peaceful, prosperous and united post-Mugabe Zimbabwe."
