Zimbabweans challenged to aspire to bring change

The leader of the Progressive Democratic Party of Zimbabwe Barbara Nyagomo based in the united Kingdom has challenged Zimbabweans at individual level to aspire to bring change to the country saying small fires may result to a bigger one.
"Zimbabweans I think change comes from small fires and small initiatives by the younger generation of our country. When these small fires are lit and fanned, they grow and become a big wild fire," she said. "We cannot wait for a great vision from one great person. Our collective efforts can make a difference. It is up to us the younger generation to light up our own fires to bring about the change we want. Zimbabwe I am not great and do not want to be."
She said what she is doing is to light up her own small fire in the darkness hoping that people too will do the same.
"Together we can make our country work again. Come let us all join hands We belong together as a community. Zimbabwe is our motherland," Nyagomo said. "We must all fight for our dignity. Let's rid of the inhumanity and indignity that has reduced us to be vendors in our own country."
Nyagomo's calls come at a time when Zimbabwe is drowning in serious economic challenges amid deepening calls for President Robert Mugabe and his Zanu PF to leave power with claims that they have failed to rule for the past 35 years.
