Calling mother in law prostitute lands man in trouble

A man from Makokoba in Bulawayo who insulted his mother in law calling her a prostitute accusing her of reporting him to the police when ever he had a dispute with his wife was sentenced to 105 hours of community service.
Mpilwenhle Hadebe (30) pleaded guilty to the charge of criminal insult when he appeared before Bulawayo Charity Maphosa. The magistrate convicted and sentenced him to 5 months in jail.
Two months were suspended for three years on condition of good behaviour. The remaining three months were suspended for 105 hours of community service.
The court heard that on July 7 at 7:30pm Hadebe went the complainant's place. The woman is his mother in law whose names are not stated on the court papers.
On arrival he asked her as to why she always reported him to the police when ever they had dispute with his wife who is the woman's daughter.
He insulted her saying "you are a prostitute and your husband is having sexual intercourse with his daughter."
He went on to say he will burn down her house while she is inside.
The woman reported the matter to the police leading to Hadebe's arrest.
