Mugabe told to appoint substantive Justice Minister
16 Sep 2015 at 07:52hrs | Views
President Robert Mugabe has been urged to appoint a substantive Justice, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs minister and a deputy rather than leaving Vice-President Emmerson Mnangagwa continuing overseeing the portfolio.
The ministry has a pivotal role in ensuring that laws are aligned with the new Constitution and civic groups say Mnangagwa was too busy to carry out the task among his many other responsibilities.
ZimRights chairperson Passmore Nyakureba said they were worried about the manner Mugabe was handling the ministry.
