Mnangagwa promises tough action on graft

Acting President Emmerson Mnangagwa says government will act to combat corruption and abuse of power by people in leadership positions.

Mnangagwa said this during a National Presidential Prayer Breakfast Meeting that drew captains of industry, academics, religious leaders among other stakeholders.

The curtain has finally come down on the week long pan African Leadership Initiative Conference which began in the capital on Monday and attracted senior government official, captains of industry and religious leaders.

Speaking at the National Presidential Prayer Breakfast Meeting which was the climax of the conference, Acting President Mnangagwa said government is on a mission to combat corruption and the abuse of power, especially amongst those in leadership positions.

African Enterprise founder Dr Michael Cassidy commended the Zimbabwean government for its strong stance against homosexuality.

The conference was held under the theme: 'Building the Nations with Jesus'.
