A Bulawayo woman allegedly lost her salary of $1 457 to another employee after she left it in the cooler box while the workmate was cleaning the office.
This was heard by Bulawayo magistrate Batanai Tuwe when Harrison Sibanda (34) appeared before him charged with theft.
The magistrate remanded him out of custody to October 1 for trial.
The court heard that on September 24 2015 the complainant Louise Carol Cmpabell (55) left her cooler box containing $1957 to pave way for Sibanda who was cleaning the office.
Sibanda allegedly removed the cooler box from the office and put it in the kitchen.
When Campbell found the cooler box and searched for her cash she discovered that all had been taken.
She confronted Sibanda before searching everywhere for the money.
They only found $500 and $1457 was not recovered. Campbell reported to the police leading to Sibanda's arrest.
