Mphoko to open a beer outlet in Bulawayo

Vice President Phelekezela Mphoko is set to officially open a $17 million new Chibuku plant in Fairbridge on the outskirts of Bulawayo.

The official opening is set for 10 am this morning.

But before that, Mphoko is due to address a breakfast business meeting at a city hotel.

The new plant was imported from German and is expected to increase Chibuku Super production in Bulawayo to 330 000 litres per hour.

Currently the plant produces 1,5 million litres per month.

Delta Corporation is a broad-based company with interests in beverages (manufacturing and distribution) and the agro-industrial sectors.

The firm is listed on the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange and is one of the top quoted companies in terms of market capitalisation.
