Fraud Suspects connive with till operator to swindle city shop

Two Bulawayo men allegedly connived with a City shop till operator to defraud the company of property worthy $89 278,07.
This was heard by Bulawayo magistrate Batanai Tuwe when Gift Gwaenda (33) and Munyaradzi Manonga (37) of Telford road Paddonhurst in Bulawayo appeared before him.
The magistrate granted them $300 bail and remanded them to October 12 for trial.
The court heard that between January 1 and Jul;y 31 this year the two connived with a city shop till operator Elinah Mbewe who is still at large to produce some copies of invoice to take house hold property worth $89 278, 07.
The property was collected by Manonga after signing for them.
The anomaly was discovered by the officials who reported the matter to the police leading to the arrest of the two.
