Grade 7 examinations begin

The wait for many students is over with Grade 7 ZIMSEC examinations having commenced countrywide today.
Learners took on the Mathematics Paper 1 today as they were tested on whether they had understood the concepts that had been drilled into them in the past seven years.
Tomorrow (Wednesday), students will be writing their English Paper 1 examination.
The Grade 7 students will write their examinations up to the 15th of October where their final papers will be Shona, Ndebele, Tonga, Nambya, Xichangana, Kalanga and Tshivenda paper 2.
Statistics show that the 2014 national pass rate increased by 95 percent from 20.11 percent in 2011 to 38.12 percent in 2014.
