A BULAWAYO woman has simultaneously dragged two of her ex-lovers to the maintenance court over failure to play their part in the upkeep of her two minor children.
Chenesai Musvibe of Makokoba suburb told magistrate Adelaide Mbeure on Monday that she wanted $100 from Vision Derera and an undisclosed amount from David Hwatirera, who failed to appear in court.
Derera told the court he could only afford $65. "I'm unable to afford the initial claim but I can afford the $65," said Derera. After consultations, Musvibe said Derera could afford to fork out $65 for his child's education as he is a carpenter.
"I'm claiming $65 per term so that I pay fees for the child," said Musvibe. Mbeure said Derera should pay $20 every month, which would accumulate to pay the fees.
