A political and social commentator Methuseli Moyo has lamented over Zimbabweans' reluctance to challenge rot being perpetrated by some officials in top places until nature save them.

Moyo made the remarks in reference to ZIFA former President Cuthbert Dube who stayed for long in the position and people failed to act even when his administration crumbled the local soccer.

"He might be gone, but Cuthbert Dube left indelible marks at Zifa. His tenure and accompanying deeds is yet another reminder of how possible it is for someone to do as they please with any institution in Zimbabwe, until nature intervenes," said Moyo.

"If we really love football, why did we let things get this worse? If we really love our country why are we letting things get so worse? Our pride and sovereignty as a people have been compromised and privatised, and only qualified people pronounce those words on our behalf. I am sure come December 5, another Cuthbert Dube will get himself (and not herself) elected Zifa president and life will go on."
