President Robert Mugabe's nephew Patrick Zhuwao was on Saturday forced to 'flee' angry National University of Science and Technology (NUST) as he lectured them on leadership.
The students were irked by what they said was Youth, Indigenisation and Economic Empowerment minister's arrogance.
Zhuwao was in Bulawayo at the weekend and held several meetings including addressing Zanu-PF members at Davis Hall.
"That man is very arrogant. He was lecturing us on good leadership. However, when we asked him what he meant by good leadership when he is part of a party that is destroying the country, he shouted at us.
"That was when commotion started. Instead of handling the matter professionally he was arrogant. He thought we are all Zanu-PF members and would agree with him without ever objecting," a student told Bulawayo24.com.
Added another: "Zhuwao had to cut short his boring and insensitive lecturer on Saturday. Students quizzed him on his message but he became angry."
After the NUST encounter, Zhuwao addressed Zanu-PF members at Davis Hall where he was also grilled on distribution of youths funds in the city.
Bulawayo and Matabeleland South are the only two provinces that did not benefit.
Zhuwao said not a single youth from both provinces applied and the allocation was returned to Harare.
