Zanu PF youth member Fidelis Fengu has claimed that President Robert Mugabe is an evangelist of unity and warned that those who belong to factions in Zanu PF have not taken any lesson from the veteran leader.
Fengu's remarks come in the wake of heating up factionalism in the ruling party with the group called Generation 40 reportedly challenging Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa's ascendance to succeed President Mugabe.
"Unity, Peace and Development. To those who belong to whatever team , would it not be better to unite and fight poverty , unite and fight unemployment that way we gain more votes and more respect," said Fengu.
"If you lead a team , or a faction, then you have not taken any lessons from Gushungo. Gushungo is an Evangelist of the unity gospel, kubatana, ukubambana. itai henyu but be warned Dr. Amai havadi nonsense."
