A 64-year-old Killarney granny, Tryphine Moyo, has been dragged to the courts by her lover's wife, Christine Dube, seeking a peace order.
According to court documents, Dube is married to Morgan Sibanda.
Dube told the courts that the pregnant granny was disturbing her peace by sleeping with her man.
Dube said her 19 year old childless married to Sibanda was on the ropes because of Moyo who eloped to her husband.
"I am the applicant in this matter and the respondent is my husband's small house.
"She eloped to my husband saying he impregnated her. I am even surprised how she got pregnant taking consideration her old age. She is 64 years old. I want her to find her own accommodation.
"It seems my husband is afraid to tell me that he no longer loves me after I failed to bear him children and Sibanda is taking advantage of that," wrote Dube.
"She is always insulting me and she forcibly took my clothes and plates which she is refusing to give me back. Despite the fact that she is pregnant I want this court to stop her from sleeping with my husband".
In response, Moyo confined that she was indeed pregnant.
"Yes it is true that I am pregnant and the applicant's husband is the father of the baby I am carrying.
"Although I am admitting that I am sleeping with her husband I never stole her clothes and plates or insulted her as she is alleging".
The magistrate granted the childless Dube the peace order.
