A 33-year-old married Mzilikazi woman, Nomatter Nkomo, was lashed in public by her husband after she was caught at it with her boyfriend.
According to B-Metro, Nkomo's spouse Wonder Dube meted instant justice while residents recorded the drama on their smartphones.
In the a video that has gone viral on WhatsApp, the woman is heard saying she is sleeping with her lover, identified as Thaso as he is now helping her pay rent.
"Yes, he is my boyfriend. I had to spend quality time with him because you were no longer paying rent. After all this is my bed and these are my blankets" she said.
The woman told the publication that her husband bashed her because he was too drunk, otherwise there was not bad blood between them.
"He is my husband and he was actually drunk when he beat me. It was around 9am and he was coming from a massive beer binge in the city centre".
