Warriors' fans are said to be stranded outside Barbourfields Stadium as gates are still closed.
The Calisto Pasuwa coached side is battling with Lesotho in the African Nations Championship first leg final round qualifier.
According to sports journalist, Sikhumbuzo Moyo, there are no match tickets.
"SHOCKER am at BF and guess what gates still closed Akulamatickets!" he posted on his Facebook page shortly after midday.
Early this week, Zifa communications manager, Xolisani Gwesela appealed to football fans to support the boys saying they had maintained PSL charges for the tie.
"Charges for the rest of the ground have been pegged at $3 while entrance to the wings is $5 and $10 for the VIP section. We believe these entrance fees will enable fans to come in their numbers.
"We are also making a passionate plea to the residents of Bulawayo to turn up in their numbers and show their support for the Warriors, an action that would convince us to bring more national teams games to the city.
"We know Bulawayo has passionate football fans and the city has the capacity to host national team games and if fans come in their numbers then as Zifa we will bring bigger matches," he said.
The return leg will be played in Maseru, Lesotho in a fortnight and the winner of the two legs will join hosts Rwanda and 14 other African nations in the continental showcase to be held between 16 January and 7 February 2016.
Lesotho have only beaten Zimbabwe once in their 16 meetings with Zimbabwe winning 12 matches with three stalemates.
